Terms of use

Flat Maker is run by [COMPANY NAME], [ADDRESS], Thailand ("we"). By using Flat Maker you agree to these terms.

1. What Flat Maker does

Flat Maker calculates flat patterns for sheet metal parts from the dimensions you enter and gives you a DXF file. It is a calculation aid for people who know sheet metal work.

2. You check before you cut

Patterns are calculated on the sheet's mean line with the settings you choose. Results depend on your inputs, material, bend radius, K-factor, machine and process. Before cutting, you must check every dimension, the bend allowance, the material and the file in your CAM software, and cut a test part where the cost of an error matters. The INFO layer in each DXF lists the inputs used and is not meant to be cut.

3. No warranty

Flat Maker and its files are provided "as is", without any warranty that they are accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.

4. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost material, machine time, labour, profit or any indirect loss arising from using Flat Maker or its files. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

5. Accounts and plans

Free accounts may download a limited number of DXF files each month. Pro gives unlimited downloads while it is active. Monthly plans renew automatically until you cancel in Billing; you keep Pro until the end of the paid month. Yearly plans are one payment for 365 days and do not renew automatically. Prices include VAT where it applies. Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store card details.

6. Refunds

If Flat Maker does not work for you, contact us within 7 days of a payment and we will refund it. [Confirm refund policy.]

7. Fair use

Do not share your account, resell files as a service, or try to copy the software or get around the download limits. We may suspend accounts that do.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will show the date above. Thai law applies.
